Registration Process

 

Admission Policy

 

  • All the information regarding the offering of programmes, eligibility norms, fee structure, curriculum, and mandatory documents required for registration are available on the university website.

  • The candidate should ensure they satisfy the eligibility norms for the programme they wish to enroll in.

 

  • The candidates must ensure that their education/qualifying degree has been issued from the Central / State Government / Government recognized institutions / recognized universities only.

 

  • At the time of online registration the candidate / Distance Academic Counselor has to scan and upload all the original relevant documents as mentioned in the registration process.

 

  • The admission would be processed as per the information provided by the candidate and if at any stage, it is found that a student has furnished any wrong or misleading information, his/her candidature will be cancelled immediately. He / She will forfeit the fees paid, if any.

 

  • Submission of documents and online payments to the university is subject to eligibility criteria as per the guidelines of the university.

 

  • The candidate must pay the fee on the date of counseling itself, failing which his/her admission shall stand cancelled.

 

  • Upon receipt of a complete set of mandatory documents and applicable fees, the University enrollment team would then verify all the documents with respective fees.

 

  • The enrollment number will be generated after receipt of the complete set of documents and applicable fees.

 

  • The admission will be treated as enrolled only after Enrollment / Registration Number has been generated by the University subject to provisional or confirmed enrollment.

 

  • University reserves the right to change the programme structure, course curriculum, eligibility norms and course conduction pattern and revise fees at any point of time.

 

  • The prospective student should check their eligibility before enrollment and there would be no refund of any registration or part fees payment done to the university before enrollment.

 

  • The Distance Academic Counselor is solely responsible for the genuineness/correctness of the documents (Educational Certificates / other documents etc.) for the admitted students.

 

  • The university will follow the refund policy as per UGC-DEB ODL & OL Regulations 2020.

 

  • Foreign students may also be admitted as per the UGC-DEB ODL & OL Regulations 2020. The fee structure is provided on the website, for SAARC countries it is twice the fee while others need to pay thrice the fee.

 

 

Registration Process

 

  • The Candidates may apply for admission online, gain information regarding the admission procedure, call the Counselors or chat with the office of the Online programme of Centre for Distance and Online Education, M.S.University.

 

  • The prospective students are required to enter the data in the admission portal and upload the scanned copy of the original mandatory documents for the admission process.

 

Mandatory Documents (Originals) to be uploaded for Admission

 

  • Information must be uploaded in the Online Admission form (Name should be exactly as mentioned on S.S.L.C. / 10th Std Mark Sheet) through the University Online portal.

 

  • S.L.C / 10th Std. Mark sheet / Certificate (For All Programmes)

 

  • Sc. / I.T.I. (2 Years course) / Polytechnic (3 years) Mark sheet / 2 years Diploma in Teachers Training Certificate (For All Programmes)

 

  • All year (UG Degree) / All Semester Mark sheets or Consolidated Statement of Marks and Degree Certificate or Provisional Certificate are to be uploaded (For PG Programme).

 

  • Aadhaar Card for Indian students, Passport for Foreign students.

 

  • Soft copy of Student Signature.

 

  • Soft copy of Recent Passport size Photo (colour).

 

  • Transfer certificate, Migration certificate and Community Certificate are not mandatory for admission.

 

  • In case of name change / deferred name (10th and Degree Certificate or Mark sheet), a name change document / Govt. A Gazette copy must be submitted to the University for processing.

 

  • ABC ID and DEB ID for the students have to be created as per UGC DEB norms.

 

  • All the payments (Tuition fee, Recognition Fee, Examination fee, etc.) have to be made online.

 

  • An Undertaking cum declaration (on a stamp paper of Rs.100/-) is to be submitted by students with one of the parents as witnesses for the information, certificates, and documents submitted by students from Other States.

 

  • The other state students are required to send self-attested copies of all the documents uploaded in the online admission portal along with Undertaking cum declaration (original) to the Director, Centre for Distance and Online Education, Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu.


Process of Eligibility / Certificate Verification

 

  • Educational certificates uploaded by the candidate have to be checked and verified whether the Board / Institution / University are recognized by the Government / UGC / Board/institution. (To be checked the same through the websites of UGC / Central / State Governments / HEIs / Statutory bodies etc.).

 

  • The application form along with the mandatory documents has to be checked for eligibility.

 

  • To get the signature up to the Deputy Director (Online Programme) level in the application form to admit the student.

 

  • The eligible student shall pay the fee (Tuition fee, Recognition Fee, Examination fee, etc.) through online mode.

 

  • After verifying the fee payment made by the student / Distance Academic Counselor, the Enrollment number will be generated.

 

  • The Enrollment Number shall be sent to the students through e-mail / SMS for confirmation of admission.

Provisional Admission

 

The students would be provided with reference numbers initially and would be guided by the provisional admission policy as mentioned below:

 

  • The students would receive the acknowledgement letter with the reference number and login credentials of the learning management system, while the enrollment number would be communicated to the students on their registered email ID.

 

  • While applying for the course, the prospective student should ensure that they are eligible for admission to the respective programme as per the guidelines of the university.
